First Giveaway!

Congratulations to Carol and Sister #3 for winning the first giveaway of the Big 10 Challenge! I am sending them both pedometers (it's fun to try to record and challenge yourself to break x amount of steps during a work day) and copies of food encyclopedias, which include recipes but most importantly the health benefits and nutrition facts of almost every fruit and vegetable, A-Z.

These 2 challengers have shared with me their struggles and their successes in the past 3 weeks. Even though there are hurdles, neither of them have shown the slightest glimpse of giving up and that has helped me stay just as motivated. Thanks & enjoy your prizes. :)

to be completely honest i haven't completed a single "real" workout since the beginning of the challenge because i have been moving and stuff. but i like to think that loading and unloading my car and carrying heavy shit and walking around ikea for 3 hours counts as a workout, right?
bah.
i need more motivation. and i need to drink less. actually i have done a good job of staying off beer and fancy iced coffee.
i just need to get on a good workout schedule. i'm feeling frustrated :(

crystal, my friend with legs for days, that weight is totally fine - it is, if you are 5"7 which I think you are at least, a BMI of about 22.

you probably feel frustrated and 'gross' because you haven't done a structured work out and you are totally type A. all the moving you are doing does burn calories but for your own sanity, try to find time to do a definitive workout because like I said not because you are a fat ass (your weight is fine for your height) but because I think your mind and body need the endorphines! :)

i am so happy to have a little support group through this!
i know i'm not "fat" i just feel flubby and a work out would do me some serious good!
you are the best-
i can't wait to tell you when i do get a real work out in! maybe it will even be tonight!

Fun little giveaway Lani! I have not dropped a pound! And it is SOOO discouraging! All I want to do is eat a cupcake lol! On the plus side - Ballet tonight!
